The mission of the ISR is to 1) facilitate the endeavors of the ISR’s member organizations to improve
patient care and population health through medical imaging, 2) serve as a representative NGO to international
regulatory bodies, and 3) to deliver education and training to radiologists in developing nations. As the
representative voice of international radiology, the “Meet the ISR” program is intended to further
the ISR mission by providing teams of ISR representatives to participate and contribute to ISR member national
society or regional radiology meetings.
To learn more about how the ISR represents you and its member organizations and apply for ISR participation as
guests within your own programs through this “Meet the ISR” activity, the ISR Executive Committee
has formalized a process by which requests from member organizations will be received and reviewed.
Applications must be received at least 6 months prior to the proposed course, 12 months
recommended.
