I am pleased to call the attention of all of our national societies and all of their individual members to the new publication of the International Society of Radiology’s third virtual congress which now appears in our website www.isradiology.org. I kindly invite you to browse through and participate actively in this new virtual congress.
Like our first two virtual congresses, this new one features lectures from some 40 distinguished diagnostic radiologists around the world. It also contains a set of case studies and electronic posters. All of these are accompanied by questionnaires which any viewer of the virtual congress can respond and then claim continuing medical education (CME) credit for participation.
In recent years, the ISR has expanded its website to add electronic educational presentations. Besides the first two virtual congresses, which are still in the website, we also have the GoRad radiology journal citations of articles relating to diagnostic practice, the two digitized reference texts---GAMUT, an encyclopedic reference of diagnostic images, and a volume on x-ray diagnosis of tropical diseases. We hope to add other materials in coming months.
I encourage all of our members and viewers to use these virtual congresses. And, I request that you tell your diagnostic radiology colleagues and trainees to look at these training packages on their own computers.
