ISR is a Cooperating Organization

ISR is proud to be a cooperating organization for the International Conference on Radiation Protection in Medicine: Achieving Change in Practice 11-15 December 2017, Vienna, Austria http://www-pub.iaea.org/iaeameetings/50820/International-Conference-on-Radiation-Protection-in-Medicine-br-Achieving-Change-in-Practice

ISR has been invited to organise a lunch-time session on regional quality and safety campaigns under the umbrella of ISRQSA.

The main purpose of the conference is to take stock of the progress made following the Bonn Call for Action and thus assess impact. The coverage includes optimization and justification in medical exposure; safety in medical use of ionizing radiation; and also radiation protection of medical staff and public, when ionizing radiation is used for diagnosis, intervention, therapy or research. Input is expected from multiple health professions using or prescribing ionizing radiation, such as all relevant groups of physicians, medical physicists, radiographers, nurses, engineers, as well as from patients, regulatory authorities, health service managements, health authorities and policy-makers.

If you are interested in submitting an abstract or participating as part of the ISR delegation in the conference, please complete the registration and abstract submission forms and send the Word documents to mhierath@isradiology.org no later than June 12 and please additionally register via the online registration toll available on the IAEA website.
